Week of December 10th


It's hard to believe, but we are training for the Race to Anyplace! If you've missed the blog post earlier in the week, take a look at it now. Over the next few months we will take some time out of our classes to specifically train for this event. Don't worry if you're not up for the race, our training classes will be flexible enough for those who are not doing the race to still get a great workout!

New Calorie Counter
You may have noticed that I've added a new calorie counter to the tools section of this blog. If your wearing a heart rate monitor during class, this is a great way to see how many calories you're actually burning. The calculator uses your average heart rate, plus the time of your workout to get a fairly accurate count. I hope to get other useful tools up in this section soon!

Retierment from Tuesday Night Spin
Well it's official, I'm stepping away from my Tuesday night spin class at LA Fitness. It was a hard decision, but I have to be sure to keep a balance between work, training, and family. Ed will be taking over so the class will live on!
