The 4 Hour Body -What We Ate on Week 2

If you read last weeks post you know my wife, Kelly, and I are playing around with the 4 Hour Body diet. I posted a quick meal log last Saturday so that readers could see exactly what we ate for the first week of this plan. Here's an updated post covering what we ate during week 2. Hope it helps with some good ideas of your own!



SMM Victory & the Weekly Schedule!

Another year, another Space Monkey Mafia victory! This year's ride was the most competitive yet.

The team was suppose to race in the "Spin Open" division, but got grouped with the YMCA teams (and put on Kaiser bikes). It was a grueling ride by all the riders. In the past, we have always been miles and miles miles ahead of the competition, but this year the Hill District YMCA brought out the big guns. It was neck and neck through most of the 6 hour race., In the end though, we pulled out a win by 2.8 miles.

While I can't get into all the details in a blog post, I can suggest you go grab the book, and I will give you a peak at what I'm eating and how I'm feeling.

Race To Anyplace -We Need Riders, Sign Up Now!

The Race to Anyplace is only a few weeks away! The team's look good, but we still have a few open slots. If you're interested in riding, let me know ASAP!

Here are a few, team specific details you'll need to know if you want to ride.


2 Important Things
  • If you cannot still race, please let me know ASAP and I will remove you from the roster. 
  • If you are racing, but have not signed up online with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, please do so ASAP. Click here for instructions!
Are You on the Race Team or JV Team?
We will be making team assignments later this week. Please let me know which team you would 'prefer' to be on. Here are the general guidelines (click here for last year's stats).
  • Race Team = 150 - 180 RPMs or 9 - 10 miles in 15 minutes
  • JV Team = 120 - 140 RPMs or 7 - 9 miles in 15 minutes
